Germany: A woman was scene in combat with a lean man.
It's where she was last spotted. I've been gathering all the articles I can and whatever data comes in, it's ridiculous how many hours I spend researching when everyone else is sleeping. Everything I have found all points to her, and she's tearing her way across the globe and through Executor's clones to hunt down the original. "Tearing through" might be too strong of a term. Executor's clones aren't easy things to kill, I've received mockery emails from the man himself saying how her condition is a mess. And I believe it now after reading another article. A woman bandaged up, still bleeding, a thick tree branch in her hand as she fought against a lean man. Yea, I believe it alright.
I've been dreaming of her since after I escaped Ferus. I think Executor has found a connection now. He hasn't shown up which leads me to believe he's unable to locate me, which is good in its own way. The Caged One works herself day in and day out, while I'm asleep and awake, defending whatever it is she's been keeping locked up. Executor manages to weasle his way in and all I see is her, fighting his clones. She's no longer a pacifist, it would seem. Willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Mystery is getting stronger, it's alarming really. I can't imagine what she'll be like when we see each other. I need to talk to her.
I don't know what is happening. Frequent visits from the Executor are making things strange on my end. Whatever connection he found is allowing me to leech back through him. If he was allowing it he wouldn't have reacted so violently when he found out. I'm going to write fully on that on my own blog soon. Have a lot of updates to do so I guess just keep an eye out for it.
Thuggee has also been reported by MASC to be attacking more proxies. He seems to be drawn in when they come together now and then, bigger group the more he's attracted to their position. His merciless killing streak has not changed in the slightest. So, be warned proxies.
DeMii informed me Proxy 85 found and delivered Lullaby back to her. What interests me is why, on top of which from what I've heard from her he was also able to pass the wards. So does that mean the boy means no harm? I find it unlikely and surprising considering the past events, and him being one of Executor's charges. But you can't judge everyone as a whole, so I intend to investigate the matter soon.
Prosper has been awfully quiet, last I heard from a pleasant little email was that he was attacking Road Runner and she was as well attacking him. They've been in conflict for a while now it would seem, which begs me to ask: Why?
Maybe that file will help. I'll post it on my own blog soon.
Lucas and Joel have passed away, Drake as well. Elaine attempted as much. Three more people, gone to the graves.
Fuck.
Going to keep moving forward. Mystery and I will push forth until we meet up once again.
Everyone, be careful. If you need anything just shoot me a line, the sanctuary is around if you need it.
Stay safe.

Infection
I started this as a response to a question by Uriel, but it grew to be too large to be a simple reply. So I made it a post instead.
Uriel said: I Wanted to know more about this Abomination and how people usually get involved in all this.
This is what I have observed. I won't claim to be a scientist or a psychologist, but I am a bibliophile. heh I read, I learn. Observing... watching the world go by and learning from it, that's just another way of reading to me.
Others are welcome to add to this or disagree. There are already links to theories which go into his origins in the Slender theory section, so I won't go into that here. This post is strictly about how people become "involved" in this.
There are three basic ways that the infection seems to spread. The first and current primary source of infection occurs when someone discovers the videos or a blog and through anxiety or paranoia or some unmeasurable level of awareness attracts the attention of the entity. They then introduce others to it via blog or vlog, spreading the infection. Some have argued and taken steps based on this argument that if runners and proxies were taken out of the equation (IE killed), and all record of the Slenderman's existence erased from the internet and elsewhere, that we could destroy him, starve him. This argument is based on the idea that our awareness of the entity is necessary to its continued existence. Based on first hand experience however, I cannot accept this argument. The possibility of people being helped by the experience of others outweighs the argument of reducing infection through "extreme sanction." At best the murder of the innocent victims of Slenderman become a stopgap measure.
Secondary infection occurs via psychic sensitivity. Some people are simply more aware of spiritual/supernatural activity in general. This causes them to stumble across a "proxy" or the Slenderman himself. Their awareness of the entity draws its attention. It proceeds to haunt them, causing them to act out in various ways which causes the spread of the infection as with the primary source of infection, the blogs and vlogs. This has been called a compulsion by others. Having always been interested in writing and words, I can't say if this is true or not. Prior to the creation of the internet and blogs and vlogs, general public opinion would have been to label such people insane, paranoid schizophrenics.
The rarest form of infection was previously the primary source. Prior to the advent of the internet, this was a "patient 0" type scenario caused either by the individual's sensitivity to psychic phenomena or some unknown personal quality which attracted the attention of the creature. (This is the nature of my own exposure to the creature over 20 years ago.) There are certain types which seem more prone to infection than others however. These are people who have psychic or creative ability, who are highly intelligent or inquisitive. Which is not to say that others are not also affected, but that these specific types possibly are more inclined to enter environments or have contact with items which have a higher possibility of carrying infection. Or again, some quality of their minds, as opposed to the minds of others, attracts the creature's attention, causing it to investigate and infect.

And here we are and there we go
First order of business, we're alive. We're safe-ish. We're recovering. But we have missing and... I'm not okay with what happened.
I cannot begin to describe how thoroughly pissed off I am about... everything- How easily we were trounced, how that overpowered bastard tore apart our house and hurt my family, how MASC has been twisting our arms to make us accept their "patronage." I do not appreciate threats, veiled or not. Money is another matter, and I hope that doesn't make me a gold-digger for letting that influence my decisions.
I REALLY don't appreciate the fact that, from what they knew about us before they started asking their questions, they had to have been watching us for WEEKS. They could have intervened at any time but chose to only begin firing at the last minute. I mean, granted things happened pretty darn quick, but you'd think someone beating the crap out of people and tearing apart a large structure with his freaking MIND would be a target they'd want to take down ASAP.
Bleh... I am so not happy, and it has nothing to do with being beat to crap and back. At least MASC is letting us go home today, to "look at the place;" they insist it isn't livable, and it isn't safe. They seem to think we should stay with them and be happy for the protection. I might have taken them up on it if any of my friends were interested; they're not. They can't legally hold us, no matter their threats. It's the threats that make me not trust them even more than their hesitation in saving our frikkin lives. And since I'm in their custody and using one of their computers, I'm sure they'd read this even if they aren't already monitoring our blogs.
I don't want to say thankfully only two people died in the attack because that is two people too many, even if one of them was an enemy. But we also have missing... Tim and Drake... are lost; Lullaby... we know who has her, though we don't know where. I'd almost prefer she was missing still and not in his hands. MASC says they're looking but after they were apparently attacked a second time while picking over the mansion, I don't know how much effort they're putting into it. I don't know who attacked them either. They weren't very clear. All I know is that it wasn't Thuggee, though his latest blog post is puzzling then, since he insisted in his gratuitous, self-aggrandizing, masturbatory murder-fest that he disintegrated the bullets fired by MASC.
But we're going home. I don't care what the mansion looks like. If Drake or Tim or Lulls come back, that's where they know to go. Ecko showed up at the mansion the next day, so I know the others might still come back there too. And as bad as our injuries are, the little spirits of the place will help us heal. I know it. We'll heal faster there. Come hell or high water we are going home.
And are we really in more danger there than anywhere else? I don't think so. MASC twisted my arm... not with their threats but with the offer of money. I haven't seen the mansion yet, but I know it's in bad shape from the attack. And in accepting their money, I had to accept their presence in the mansion. They're making us house a half dozen men (argued DOWN, I assure you), but in exchange they'll rebuild the place and put in cameras with CCTV and "patrol the perimeter." (I can't say that last part without feeling like I'm in a war movie... I hate war movies...) And money for food since that reject from a dead assassin's cult tore up the garden and woods too from what MASC has told me. The cover story is apparently a localized tornado since lots of people in town saw the trees getting thrown about even if they weren't close enough to see some masked buffoon doing his best Dragonball Z villain impression. And our MASC liaison is to be one Trevor Brood, who's been silently following my blog and a few others for a while now, sneaky bastard.
I'll post more on my personal blog. Just wanted to update you guys on what's going on with these MASC people.

Laws of Magic IV: Law of Relative Truth
IV Law of Relative Truth
According to Law I, there are two kinds of Truth in the cosmos: one Absolute and the other Relative. The Absolute Truth is the unchanging and eternal Tao which underlies the world(s) we know. Relative truth, or what we consider reality, is faceted by the perceptions and desires of individual wills. It is ever changing because it is illusory. In our world of competing realities, it is a constant war of wills. If your will is strong enough, you can rewrite another being’s reality, but the price can be high. Every Worldview is real to those who have conscious awareness of it or give it credence, shaping it by their belief or disbelief. This is a very important Law as it pertains to sanity. If you cannot accept the idea of other realities, it is very possible that your mind could break when confronted by a truly alien Worldview, especially if that Worldview has the backing of multiple minds. If you have no option but to function within this worldview, it is best to go with the flow, but you must maintain your own Worldview at the same time as the Absolute to which you will eventually return. Most people do not have the strength of mind to segment their awareness in this fashion (explaining both the growing number of people who are diagnosed with mental disorders and the ease with which Slenderman seems to rewrite the minds of His victims).
Consider that water is wet only to creatures which do not live in water. We do not think of our habitat as “dry” any more than a fish thinks of its home as “wet.” The terms are meaningless to beings who have no reason to know them. In order to function within the parameters of another creature’s Worldview and cause changes there, you must be willing and able to suspend your own Worldview and accept the vantage point of that other being as true. This is tantamount to the adage that you must walk a mile in someone’s shoes before you can understand their choices; you must walk that "mile" before it is possible to make changes which the other person will accept as true and acceptable within the parameters of their own Worldview. It is impossible to change another being’s Worldview without first adopting their viewpoint and using it as a common stepping off point. The greatest danger here is that in adopting another's viewpoint, you can easily lose your own, permanently trapping you within the Worldview of the other (at best, making you schizophrenic).
To dismiss another person’s Worldview as false is to assume that only yours is true. You can still change some aspects of the other being’s Worldview, but this will depend largely on your will. In most cases, this will pertain only to the minor elements of the other being‘s viewpoint. This is a very difficult Law to put into practice and a very dangerous one to get wrong.
The Law of Relative Truth has far reaching ramifications however.
It explains the power of suggestion. For instance: someone tells you that you have been cursed. If you believe it, then your belief lends truth (and power) to the existence of the curse. Positive reinforcement, in other words. If you believe there is no curse, you have the power to negate its effects. If your will is strong (stronger than the person who has placed a curse on you), you can dismiss the curse completely as untrue.
It affects divination and visions of the future in what is referred to as self-fulfilling prophecy. If you are made aware of a possible future, that future is more likely to come to pass because you know of its possibility. This is especially true if you adopt a defeatist attitude of waiting for it to come to pass. Consider the “curse” a prediction of ill fortune. If you accept its existence, you have already lent energy to the creation of a future where its existence is validated.
It also pertains to the power of names. The power inherent in names is something the ancients were more aware of than we are today. Essentially a name has the power to call a thing and control it. The more names, or information, you have connected to a specific thing, the more control over it you have. Names, descriptions, even origins and dates, give you a better understanding of a thing and therefore more power over it. It can even allow you to create a thing.
Despite the fact that modern humans no longer take into account the power of names (forgoing the tradition of secret names, adult names, and the intentional destruction of names in order to harm the spirit of the dead), there has been some modern experimentation into this aspect of the Law of Relative Truth. Talking about a ghost or spirit gives power to that spirit to interact within the parameters of your Worldview. If someone is told that a house is haunted, even if they say they do not believe in ghosts, any doubt they may silently harbor gives a real (or imagined) spirit a window into the world of the observer.
This spirit may even be created by the belief of the observer (or it may be a spirit which uses the parameters of the belief to clothe itself in the trappings of our reality). (This is the Core Theory mentioned by many who know of Slenderman.) Even if someone does not know a house to be haunted, the fact that someone believes the house to be haunted allows anything there to make itself known. This logically extends to the creation of Thought-forms (also called Tulpas, servitors, egregores, golems, etc). Essentially, you can create a spiritual entity with the power of your belief, and this effect snowballs based on the number of observers who believe.
In the 1970s, The Toronto Society Of Psychical Research experimented with the concept of thought-forms, creating a spirit named Philip. They were extremely successful, though the groups were never able to explain the results of their experiment scientifically. (Unfortunately magical laws are inadmissible in scientific arguments!) Though this experiment was performed simply to ascertain “scientifically” whether it could be done, in magic, thought-forms or Tulpas can be given various tasks beyond simple séance-type interaction. Thought-forms can be asked to ward a place, person, or thing, to attack others psychically, gather information… essentially a thought-form can do nearly any task you set for it within the parameters you initially envisioned. It is very much like a computer program, or if ignored, like a virus or even a vampire. The danger lies in not assigning such a creature any function. Ignoring it will not make it go away or dissipate. Awareness of a thing lends power to its existence, however small a contribution that power may be. It will draw energy from you by making you notice it or through more direct means.
Every statement is true, false, and/or meaningless. This is a function of one’s vantage point (Worldview). It is possible for a concept or act to violate the truth of a personal universe and still be “true,” provided that it “works” in a specific situation. (This law is closely allied to Law VI: the Law of Paradox and Law I: The Law of Worldviews.) Essentially, The Law of Relative Truths allows personal worldviews to overlap and also to interact with the nominal universe which underlies all other existences, bridging the gap between Laws I and VI.
According to Law I, there are two kinds of Truth in the cosmos: one Absolute and the other Relative. The Absolute Truth is the unchanging and eternal Tao which underlies the world(s) we know. Laws of Magic III: Law of Synchronicity
Sorry I haven't updated the Laws in a while. Distractions and several unfortunate events later, here is the third Law in the series.
According to the Law of Synchronicity and its sub-law, no event is exclusive; no event is separate from every other event. All events create and are caused by the ripples of other events. There are always causes which led up to the event you observe, some of them obvious, most of them not so much. Events are connected through a pattern (Tao), whether we can see the whole picture or not. The Law incorporates the idea of cause and effect, but also takes into account outer and inner causes. Events may be interpreted as external or internal phenomena. It depends upon your point of view. Synchronicity (syn=with and chronos=time) was described by Jung as the concurrent appearance of connections between elements, of meaningfully related events, without a unique direct cause. Science does not quite understand these phenomena and the rational mind denies them.
Only when we are in harmony with our (external/unconscious) selves will synchronic events acquire significance. In moments of synchronicity, everything is fluid; favorable people, actions, and objects may appear at exactly the right time and place. Examples: chance meetings which prove advantageous, clairvoyant dreams, accidental telepathy/synchronous thoughts that culminate in action. These are simple synchronic events. Then there are cascade events, a succession of coincidences which may be difficult to follow or explain. Many would consider these extraordinary chances of fate, mere coincidences or miracles, when actually they illustrate the profound resonance between personal reality and the mysterious forces of the nominal universe. It is only our ego that prevents us from being in a state of synchronicity all the time.
The Law of Synchronicity might as well be called the Chaos theory of magical thought. Chaos theory describes complex motion and the dynamics of sensitive systems. Though chaotic systems may be mathematically determined, they are nearly impossible to predict. Behavior in chaotic systems is aperiodic; that is, events occur seemingly at random. No event or series of events is repeated, yet a chaotic system can evolve in a way that appears to be smooth and ordered. “Chaos” refers to whether or not it is possible to make accurate long-term predictions of any system if the initial conditions are known to an infinite degree. Since this is impossible, no prediction can be made which is one hundred percent accurate. Despite this, Chaos theory is about attempting to find the order within chaos in order to make a logical prediction. Just as Synchronicity implies that there is a pattern to observed events which provide clues to the future.
Coincidence is merely an illusion created by the subconscious syncing with the nominal universe. If we properly understood the world(s) we live in, coincidence would cease to exist, replaced by synchronicity. Events would fall into place according to our wishes and needs. Synchronicity is evident when significant unrelated coincidences occur. Suppose you are driving down the road, when suddenly a small animal jumps out and causes you to slow down. A few yards later at an intersection, another car ignores a stop sign and speeds across the road right in front of you. If you had not slowed for the animal, you would have been struck by the other driver. The Law of Synchronicity also applies to so-called wish-magic. Wishing something passionately, we create what we desire (often unconsciously). Albert Einstein insisted intuition, not brilliance, was the key to his scientific discoveries. Nikolai Tesla had visions of his inventions, examining them in mental detail before attempting to create them.
Psychic techniques are also based on synchronicity. Divination is a form of synchronicity, relying on symbolism to formulate an idea of future events. Synchronicity connects the material world to the psychic world by symbols. These symbols are not always understood, though they appear from the collective subconscious. The law of synchronicity and the law of cause and effect compliment each other. Understanding these fundamental laws leads to spiritual leaps in evolution. A person who is spiritually elevated will benefit by additional degrees of freedom in how s/he interfaces with reality. The law of synchronicity offers power based on creativity and knowledge. Anything is possible with understanding and the acceptance of the flow of reality which surrounds us at all times. When we wade into that flow, we may divert it according to our will or allow it to carry us in whatever direction it is going.
III Law of Synchronicity:
Synchronicity is a term invented by Jung to describe meaningful coincidences that cannot be attributed to cause and effect. Synchronous events are connected by pattern (meaning) rather than time. (This will be expanded upon in Law VIII: the Law of Association.) Some interpret this as an ongoing and developing dialogue between the perceiver and the consciousness of the universe. Two or more events happening at the same time (the presence of the observer and the event itself) are likely to have more in common than the merely temporal. This dialogue is overt to the degree the perceiver is receptive to it, that is, how aware they are of the event being significant.
Law of Unity Everything which exists, will exist, or has existed is linked, directly or indirectly, to everything else. All phenomena is connected to every other one, past, present, or future. Any perceived separation between phenomena is based on fragmentary perception or an incomplete understanding of the phenomena.
Be Wary of These
I stumbled upon this site today, a very useful collection of the usual suspects. Hopefully the author will continue updating the list as more of our enemies reveal themselves.
The author, Dia, says: These are a collection of people I've met, or stumbled upon rather, that you should be wary of. They are proxies, revenants, puppets, corpses walking, enough kinds to make your head spin. Then there are simply the ones that know too much. Anyone I list here, watch them closely if you run across them. Or, if you are wise, you will run the other way.
